Pip & Seras - ficlet
Jul. 16th, 2005 01:36 pm Since I'm doing Pip & Seras for
30_lemons and I'm so anal about canon...I've created an alternate universe for the romance to take place in. This is a kind of prologue that explains what happens differently. I'm going to link to it on all my lemons. I'm thinking too of adding to this and writing another multichapter fic. Not soon, as I have too many other things but I like the idea of Pip surrviving the war and what interactions will be like between him Seras, Alucard, and Integral. As well as the hot sex. So this explains what happens, kind of how Pip surrvives, and what the post-war world is like. Also is kind of the set-up for my first lemon which will be about their first time. Is it a bit fluffy but hopefully not too much so.
Seras watched him sleep, not quite believing that he had managed to survive. It was a miracle really and she thought that perhaps there was a god. How else could his survival be explained? She watched him sleep for a few hours each night, wishing he would wake up from the coma he was in. He was the only one of the Wild Geese who had. She almost felt guilty for feeling happy that he was alive when so much had been lost. The war was over now. The world was returning to some sense of normalcy but life was not same same. How could things ever be the way they once were?
The world knew about the existence of vampires. It could not be denied or covered up when news crews had filmed the horror and broadcast around the world. Luckily, Integral had been able to keep both Alucard and her own existence hidden from the public. The British officials had confiscated every photo and video clip that was taken. Seras was just happy that every single one of those Millenium bastards were gone, destroyed by Hellsing. She only wished it was the end of the bloodshed.
Before the dust had settled from the war, new vampires started to emerge from the shadows. They were not ones created by Millenium but, true vampires, much like herself. The war had left much of the world unable to defend themselves against any kind of threat: terrorist, criminals, thugs, but especially vampires. Many of the vampires banded together into gangs and openly attacked humans at night. Most humans did not go out at night and prayed that the gangs would not enter their home. Others, mostly the young, would not let the threat of danger keep them from having fun. Seras had overheard one teenager say, If we live in fear, let them change the way we live – then they win. She wanted to smack the stupid boy and thought he had heard too many politicians speak. Life today was not about winning or losing any longer. Surviving was all that mattered.
Seras hated what had become of the world and wondered if it could ever end. Every night there was more death. Alucard, the new Hellsing army, and she went out patrolling for the vampire gangs. Defeating them was usually easy. These vampires were weak as were the Masters that sired them. They were no match for Alucard or even her. Her power had grown because of Pip.
Although she did not bite him and drink directly from his vein, Seras had drunk blood from his wounds. She had licked his blood from the ground around him until not a drop remained. His blood had been more then enough to give her the power to defeat that vampire bitch. Drinking his blood connected them somehow. He was there with her when she fought. During some of the fight, Seras could feel him taking control of her body and it was why Seras was so sure he had died. She was shocked after the fight when she heard his voice, not inside her mind but with her ears. You're a good girl, Seras. I knew we could do it, he had said.
How he survived after that, Seras did not know. Somehow, someone had gotten Pip out of London and to a hospital. After the war they received an anonymous phone call and Sir Integral had him flown back to Hellsing when he was well enough. Seras only wished she could thank Pip's guardian angel. They had saved her Captain's life. Seras only wished he would wake up so she could thank him for saving her.
It happened one night after Seras had returned from a particularly bad mission. An entired family had been killed. She just couldn't get the sight of the dead young mother holding her dead baby. Both were covered in blood, their throats ripped out. Seras had been unable to protect them. She told Pip about the mission like she always did even though Seras never knew if he could hear. As her eyes started to mist up, he spoke. Just one word but it was her name.
“Seras,” he whispered. “Am I dreaming or are you here?”
“Pip, is that really you?” She asked him.
“Of course it is me. Who did you think? Maybe Indiana Jones?” He answered her.
Seras felt his eyes on her, first her face before moving down and fixating on her chest. She had to smile. Only awake a few seconds and he was back to his perverted self. She didn't mind too much, really. Seras was just happy to have him back in the world.
She brushed his hair away from his eyes. Seras had to touch him to make sure she wasn't dreaming. “Pip, I'm happy that...” She started to blush and couldn't finish her words. Seras was never good in situations like this. It was the reason she was still a virgin.
Pip grinned and looked into her eyes. “Shh-cherie, I know. Hey, come a little closer.”
Seras lowered her head to his. She knew it was a trick and what he was going to do. She wanted it too. Seras closed her eyes as Pip's lips touched hers. She had wanted to kiss his lips on the nights she came to watch him sleep. The kiss was soft, warm, and gentle but held a promise so much more. Thing might have gone further if they were not interrupted by their boss.
“Seras! You didn't tell me he was awake.” Integral Hellsing had to grin at the couple. The two almost looked “cute” to her.
“Sir, yes. The Captain, he just woke up. I'm sorry I didn't get you right away.” Seras said as she started to blush.
“Yes, I can see, you two had other things on your mind. It's quite all right, but I should call the doctor.” Integral said. She looked at the Captain and he looked remarkably well. “How do you feel, Captain?”
“Feel? I feel pretty good.” Pip glanced over at Seras. I couldn't be better, Boss. “Although, could I get out these contraptions and get some real food?” He pointed to the IV's and wires that monitored his bodies vital functions.
Integral nodded at him. “Yes, just wait for the doctor to arrive. Perhaps we'll get you out of the hospital bed. I'm going to call him now. Just be patient, Captain.”
Pip waited until Integral left before he pulled Seras close to him. He was weak but summoned the strength. He didn't try to kiss her again but pulled her next to him. He ran his hands across her back not quite believing he was alive. Right now he had all he needed. Holding Seras in his arms, feeling her breasts against his chest. Pip did not want the moment to end. He had to grin as he felt himself grow hard. Good to know everything still works.
