It's not stupid. I guess I didn't make it clear. The way i envision it was that if Alucard didn't let her drink his blood then he would possess her soul (and she would be dead). In a way he possesses a small part of Seras' & Integral's both. With Integral she in a sense "got her soul back" because she drank a good bit of Alucard's blood. Seras never did so Alucard has more control over her.
