EDIT - after thinking about it, I realized that the Major is more a self insertion then a GaryStu. The implications of that...are eww. Considering the Major's role as the sadistic rapist in pre-Hellsing hentai. I'm suddenly very scared for Integral.

Hirano is the fat guy with glasses and a hat. OMG he looks just like the Major. Does this mean that the Major might win and get Integral (cause Hirano would like to)?

I hope not. *scared for Integral* I hope Hirano is not one of those authors that will let the GaryStu get the girl. I hope not. Or maybe Alucard is a GaryStu too and that is who Hirano is REALLY like (his personality and desires). He looks like the Major and wishes he was Alucard.

Nah, just because he modeled a character on his psysical traits doesn't mean anything. Major doesn't steal the spotlight and have flaws. Plus Integral doesn't want him.

He has self inserted in Manga before but he looks exactly like himself.

Yes after thinking about it I realized that the Major is not a GaryStu but more of a self-insertion - at least physically. He definetly has flaws and doesn't steal the spotlight. Although, so far he is invicible.

But - it is very ewww. When I started thinking about it, what the Major's role was in the pre-Hellsing hentai's like Vampire Hunter and Coyote: as the cruel sick rapist, it made me go ewww. If it is a self-insertion then would that mean that he wants to do all of that stuff? If that implies what I think then errr he even more insane than I had suspected.

BTW-I was more kidding in saying that he would win or that the Major was a real GaryStu. It just was freaky seeing how much he looked like the Major. I don't think it will end like that. I just hope that there is not any more rape scenes in the manga. The one with Seras' mom still is freaking me out.

I don't think we have anything to fret over just yet. Unless a compromising situation arises in which the Major and Integral get it on. That would be the pinnacle and the cementing of his Stu-ification, since we all know Hirano wants to nail Integral anyway.
