So I'm at work and had a few minutes to write. I am so obsessed with writing Hellsing, I can't let a day go by without writing a story or something. I figure I'll write a drabble. So I start. It was going to be about Alucard having a nightmare. The nightmare was about Mina. So even after I cut some of the set-up for the story, I have like 700 words! Ack!
So anyway...here it is. Damn, I wanted to post it on bloodyshorts. I seem to be obsessed about the whole Dracula/Hellsing connection. Damn you [Unknown site tag] for putting the idea in my head! XD

I might add this to my AxI fic- Farce of the Dragon. Or I might not.
EDIT: Changed some wording, added quotation marks, & fixed the timeline (thanks Thess!)

Alucard was in a different place, a different time. Where the hell was he? The house was older then the Hellsing mansion. It looked like HER house. Lucy. That beautiful flighty child he had made. Too bad Van Hellsing had killed her. I didn’t even have a chance to have fun with her. If only I could have had both her and Mina in my bed together.

He walked into another room and that was when the vampire first saw – her. The one woman he had unable to get out of his mind after 100 years. He had wanted to possess her – at least for a little while. And that idiot, Abraham, got to him before he had a chance. Alucard did not love her. No, in fact part of him hated and despised her for what she had done to him. Mina had worked with them to capture him. She had resisted his attempts to seduce her. But, he had wanted her so badly. In fact, Alucard still did.

“What is this, Mina? Why are you here?”

“Good evening, Alucard. You invented this world. I’m here because you want me to be. Are you still obsessing over me after all this time?” Mina looked at him – her eyes were filled with pity.

Alucard walked over to her, needing to touch her. It all seemed too easy. She looked just the same: tall and slender, beautiful long brown hair, and incredible dark eyes. He stroked the back of her hair and was amazed that it felt just as soft and silky as it had over 100 years ago.

Mina stepped away from him. “No, Alucard. I don’t desire you. I never have. But, wait, I sense there is another?” Mina grabbed Alucard’s hand and closed her eyes tightly.

Alucard was taken back by her touch. It felt like an electric shock went through his body. The feeling both hurt and pleasured him.

Mina had read the vampire’s mind. It was a power her spirit had when it roamed. “You want HER don’t you? You can’t have her. Abraham will not allow it.”

Alucard laughed. “What? Abraham Van Hellsing? That idiot is dead. He can do nothing when I make Integral my servant.”

“So am I Alucard. But, our spirits still live. And we will fight against you and your kind forever. It is the price we have to pay for letting you live.”

Alucard looked alarmed. Wasn’t this his vision? His fantasy? No this was more like a nightmare. After a few mintutes, the vampire laughed. He wasn’t afraid of Abraham or Mina. In fact he would just love the challenge. “And how is Mr. Van Hellsing going to stop me from taking Integral? Tell me – is he going to spook me?”

Mina stared at the vampire intently, wondering if he was really so stupid. “Don’t you know what will happen, Alucard? Why do you think I'm here now? If you try to possess the leader of this organization - I will stop you.”

Alucard grabbed her – she was but a weak woman. “How can you possibly stop someone as powerful as me?” After a minute though, she slipped through his hands.

“No, Alucard. Not by battling you. I will stop you by becoming a part of her. If that is what I have to do to save her, then I will.

At that moment, Alucard saw a vision in his mind. It was his Master sleeping soundly back at the Hellsing mansion. He watched horrified as this spirit, of the woman he desired so many years ago, started to become one with Integral. It was then that the spirit of Mina turned around at Alucard and grinned. Mina's spirit spoke to him before disappearing inside of Integra. "I will make sure you never lay a hand on this woman, Alucard. Integral does not belong to you. And you shall never possess a woman so noble, so powerful, so good. If you try, I will defeat you - again."

Alucard started laughing insanely. What else could he do? Alucard almost punched his servant square in the jaw, when she tried to wake him.

“What in the hell do you want, Seras?”

Seras backed away from her Master. Alucard was so scary when he first woke up. “You were laughing in your sleep, Master. It scared me. When I put the blood on the table a few minutes ago, you threw it against the wall. The blood bag broke and splattered! Why would you do that? Sir Integra told me to get some more and make sure you were awake before I left.”

Alucard looked at Seras. There WAS something different about her. When she smiled at him, he didn’t see her face, but that of Lucy. Alucard jumped off of the chair and started yelling at her to leave. Seras looked at him like he was insane. Well, he was in so many different ways but Alucard rarely acted irrationally. She ran out the door, not sure what was going on with her Master. Seras just knew she did not want to stick around and find out.

I like it also, though I'm not as familiar with Dracula as I should be. Alucard's interactions and the comparisons are interesting.

You're welcome to put it on Bloody Shorts, it's fine if things go a little over!
