Pip FST

I've been wanting to do a Pip fst because he is my favorite male character from Hellsing and last month fst had the perfect opportunity to do one: canon characters who died. I started early in the month but got lazy. Originally I had over 50 songs but have narrowed it down to 27. I'd like to get it down even more but it's hard - Pip was/is such a GREAT character. Does anyone have any songs they would rec for the FST? I have songs that represent Pip's childhoood, time with the Geese, and of course too many about him & Seras but I'd like to find one (or a few) about him & Alucard.

Yeah, I know I have 3 songs by Snow Patrol but I love them and the songs just fit.



I really need to do an update post. Which I shall. Later today. I finally fnished another chapter of Another Time, Another Place. I don't think too many on my FL are reading because no one seems to love Blood+ like I do. Not that I'm complaining. I have had a bunch of reviews on the Pit which always makes me feel happy.

Hmm, I don't see how LP's Leave Out All the Rest matches Pip... Avril Lavigne's Keep Holding On pretty much sums up his feelings for Seras, when he chose to die for her though. I know this bit, "I wish you were here/Before it's too late, this could all disappear" sounds a little weird, but if you take just those two lines out, it's perfect. AL's Innocence also matches that scene, in my opinion. I may have interpreted the lyrics wrongly, though. ^^;; *tends to over-analyse words/lyrics*

I always liked "Yellow" by Coldplay for Pip and Seras, and not just because of the "For you I'll bleed myself dry" line. Also "Like China" by Phil Collins.

For Pip himself... I'm not sure. I'll have to think about it.

I only wish I could see more of Blood+ so I could read your fic.

While looking through the list again, I don't think Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars matches, either. Pip doesn't seem the type to want to "just forget the world". It's pretty romantic, I guess, but I don't think that it's for Pip.
