Battle Royale

kellesI finally got Battle Royale from Greencine this weekend. I must say that I absolutely loved it. I tend to like the weird/violent/macabre Japanese movies This movie was just so different then what I thought it'd be: yes it was very violent but there was also some really sweet moments and the whole film had so much to say about humanity. I think I like it as much as Audition or Happiness of the Katakuris.
Since I'm a Hellsing geek, I would love to think how I can do a Hellsing crossover fanfic based on the idea. Let me see - Millenium puts Hellsing & Iscariott members on an island and only one person can surrvive. Mmmmmm...I think I may just write it. Of course it would be very very dark and would contain no smut. But, maybe that is a good thing.
