Battle Royale

I finally got Battle Royale from Greencine this weekend. I must say that I absolutely loved it. I tend to like the weird/violent/macabre Japanese movies This movie was just so different then what I thought it'd be: yes it was very violent but there was also some really sweet moments and the whole film had so much to say about humanity. I think I like it as much as Audition or Happiness of the Katakuris.

Since I'm a Hellsing geek, I would love to think how I can do a Hellsing crossover fanfic based on the idea. Let me see - Millenium puts Hellsing & Iscariott members on an island and only one person can surrvive. Mmmmmm...I think I may just write it. Of course it would be very very dark and would contain no smut. But, maybe that is a good thing.

I don't know. I like the whole idea of a Hellsing "Royale." I'd like to think of a plot twist where Alucard didn't win. Perhaps Integra would. But coming up with how Alucard would get defeated would be so very tricky. He's just so damn insdestructible. Maybe he wouldn't die but be in some kind of limbo. Or I could kind of follow the plot of the movie and have a protagonist couple be the only ones to surrvive. Pip and Seras would be so perfect. The guy in the movie in some ways reminded me of Pip, with the way he risked his life to get back to the girl he loved. And A & S may be "dead" but they're really more "undead" and can "die" again. It would be a total AU/fantasy. Not sure if I can get it to work but I'd like to try. Then again it might be really bad.

LOL. Could be fun. Personally, I think Piggy will dress Integral in bunny suit and make her bring her strudel then shove the rest to the island. His 'crush' on her is so cute.

his crush for her is simply adorable. actually, in B-R, the teacher has a crush on the girl heroine so perhaps I could work a streudal scene in. but then Alucard would have to surrvive.

Perhaps Alucard doesn't even play. He arrives to the island with the ship and everyone stop fighting to escape using the boat! XD

i like it...maybe Alucard is the one who gets everyone to the island using mind control. now just have to think of who to pair Integral up with. just can't see maxwell risking his life for her. actually am thinking of Seras but making it a freindship pairing not romantic.

What about Walter? He is her steward/buttler/guard, who's been serving her family for two generations. Or do you think that he'll die too early on when pitted against the likes of Heinkel and Alucard?

Walter would definetly be in it - I consider him part of Hellsing and he's one of my favorites. Not sure which Walter it would be: Dark Walter or Old Walter. I'd like to do Dark Walter but think I don't know enough about his characterization as Dark Walter. Soooo I'll probably end up putting Old Walter in.
