new layout & a little emo-ness

My obsession with Blood+ & Solomon grows.  And he is so not my type. WTF? He is an anime character. I  usually the like characters with dark or silver hair and especially the ones with glasses.  Examples: Jin, Kyoya , Ibaragi Sōtetsu (from Bakamatsu), Kabuto, Ishida (both father & son), Kakashi (no glasses but he IS sex).  So I decided to USE my paid account and customize my layout a little.  This is Solomon from Blood+ for those that aren't familiar with the anime or manga. He kind of looks like he could be Tamaki's older brother.  Hmm...crossover! I have to RP him somewhere. The fics I've been writing are done in his POV. I never do that either - I usually write from the woman's POV. I actually made 2 different layouts but think I'm going with this one. The other is the S2 Expressive style with a header but there are alot of things that buy me about it, like the way all links are underlined and gray I could search for the code but am lazy.

I just found out that my daughter wasn't "selected" for the Networks summer employment program. And I'm pissed. They told her to fill out the application because she was a "priority."  WTF? She was really counting on the $ to go to Otakon. She's never had a job outside of the program so I don't even know if she'll find one and if she finds one if she'll be able to keep it. .For some reason the finding that out made me burst out in tears. What is wrong with me? And I still haven't heard from the principal to see if she'll be able to participate in the graduation.  She'll receive a diploma but the stupid school has a bunch of rules about participating in the ceremony. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

I still haven't heard about the job I really, really, really want. I have a feeling I didn't get it because they said they hoped to notify people by last Friday. *cries*

and in a particular angle i thought that solomon looks like tamaki suoh... hehehe!!!!

I uploaded a few of versions of the picture I made my layout from to my Blood+ folder (http://pics.livejournal.com/kelles/gallery/00011eed) in LJ scrapbook. The folder is public, so feel free to use any of them. I altered them slightly in Photoshop. If you want to use any of my

crappy

icons in that folder, you can.

I didn't make the Saya/Solomon icon in my user pics, so you'd have to check with deadweasel about using it in a forum.
